Matt Horn’s career history in journalism shows that he has worked on a variety of different newspapers in a variety of different jobs. Before specializing in sport he covered everything from court cases to council meetings, experienced the difficulties of death knocks and wrote countless features on everything from being a postman at Christmas to working in a bird sanctuary. Sport has always been his first love and he has covered everything from local parks football to both semi-finals of the Euro 2000 event in Holland and Belgium.
Here in Guangzhou, Matt Horn works for Guangdong International Volunteer Ex-pat Services (GIVES), an organization committed to giving back to the community. In December 2005 he was named as a “Friend of Guangdong” by the Provincial Government.
